Create Your Agent
Now that you’ve entered HolmesAI, it’s time to bring your first AI agent to life.
Think of the Agent as your digital assistant’s body, the shell that interacts with users and carries out tasks. Later, we’ll assign it a Persona, which acts as the mind and soul, shaping its tone, behavior, and expertise.
Let's begin by shaping your Agent’s “container”. It's waiting to be filled with knowledge, style, and purpose.
Creating Engaging Agents
Step 1:Head to the Agent Tab
In the upper sidebar, click Agent.
You’ll land in the Agent management page, where you can see all your created agents.

Step 2:Choose the Type of Agent You Want to Create
Scroll down and you’ll see a list of available Agent types.

Click on the one that suits your needs, then hit Create.
Next, scroll back up, you’ll notice that a text prompt has automatically appeared in the input box, based on the Agent type you just selected.
Think of it as the Agent’s initial script, a behind-the-scenes briefing that guides how the Agent behaves.
It includes:
The Agent’s role and task
Language setting
Post frequency setting
You don’t need to rewrite it unless you want to fine-tune the Agent’s behavior.
If it looks right to you, simply move forward and name your Agent.
If you’d like to customize it, you can edit the text directly in the input box—just make sure you stay within the intended format.

Step 3:Persona select or create
The soul of your Agent comes from its Persona.
If you haven’t selected one yet, click Select Persona right here.
Don’t worry, we’ll dive deep into how to create a Persona in the next section.
For now, just keep this in mind:
Persona = the memory, skills, personality, and tone you inject into your Agent.
It defines how your Agent communicates with you and your users. It’s the "brain" behind everything your Agent says and does.

Step 4:Name Your Agent
Once you click the Send icon, a window will pop up titled Name Your Agent.
Give your Agent a name, then click OK to continue.

Step 5:Meet My Agent Hub
Once you click “OK”, you’ll officially enter My Agent Hub. This is your central control panel for managing and publishing the content your Agent creates, designed to make your KOL auto-posting process both efficient and effortless.
1. Draft Table
At the center of the page, you’ll see a Draft table with three columns: Content, CreateTime, and Operation. Think of it as your personal content library: your Agent will keep “dropping” fresh drafts here at the interval you’ve set, and you can pick, edit, delete, or publish them at your own pace.
Content — The main body of each auto-generated post.
CreateTime — The time the draft was generated, so you can easily spot the freshest content.
Operation — Three action buttons:
COPY — Instantly copy the post text for use on other channels or for further editing.
PUBLISH — Manually push this draft to X. Since your Agent will keep generating new drafts, you can choose which ones to publish (instead of releasing them all at once) to avoid overwhelming your audience.
DELETE — Remove any content that’s outdated or off-topic, keeping your library clean and relevant.
💡 Tip: If you don’t want your drafts to pile up, you can pause your Agent anytime and restart it when you’re ready for more content.
2. Right Panel
The right-hand panel has two key modules that give you full control over your Agent’s identity and posting rhythm:

Switch Persona Want a different style or to target another audience? Just click to instantly swap your Agent’s Persona, adjusting its tone and focus to fit your current goals.
Launch Setting Located right below the Persona switch, clicking this module opens a settings menu where you can:

Language — Choose the publishing language to match your target audience.
Post Mode — Decide whether to post automatically or manually.
Minimum interval time (hrs) — Set the minimum gap between posts to avoid clustering.
Maximum number of posts per day — Cap your daily output to maintain a comfortable posting pace.
RSS Source (Optional) — Connect an external RSS feed as an additional content source.
These tools help you keep a steady supply of content while avoiding posting too frequently and overwhelming your followers.
3. Publishing Flow

Once you’ve reviewed your drafts, deleted anything unnecessary, and set your Persona and launch parameters, you’re ready to go. Simply pick the draft you want to publish, click Publish, and you’ll be taken to the X publishing page for final confirmation. From there, your content goes live — right on schedule and on your terms.
Tips for Creating Engaging Agents:
Bring your Agent to life with personality.
Users are more likely to interact with agents that feel like real characters, a friend, a co-worker, or a digital twin. The more vivid the design, the more enjoyable the creation process becomes.
You can create multiple agents for different use cases.
One for content writing, one for market research, one for casual conversation. Each serves a distinct role without getting in the way of the others.
Try Out the Instant Generator
In addition to scheduling your Agent to generate content regularly, you can also use the Instant Generator to trigger one-off content creation requests at any time. When inspiration hits, or you just need to draft a quick tweet, this feature gives you a shortcut to content creation.
How to use the Instant Generator:
Step 1: Go to My Agent Hub.
Step 2: Click the + Instant Generator button in the upper right corner.

Step 3: A dialog box will automatically pop up with the prompt:
“What content would you like to generate?”
Step 4: Type your request in the input box. For example:
Generate a tweet for me about how AI can boost creativity.
Step 5: The AI will instantly generate a tweet suggestion tailored to your Persona style.

Ps: Example content is for reference only—actual output will dynamically adapt to your Persona settings.
Step 6: Click Publish, and you’ll be redirected to the X post page for quick posting.

Pro Tips:
The Instant Generator is perfect for drafting short-form content—tweets, hooks, summary blurbs, and more.
For best results, pair it with a well-defined Persona to ensure consistent tone and expressive power.
Paste in a representative KOL post to reflect the tone you’re aiming for. Smarter style-matching is coming soon.
Real-time search and web-based inspiration are on the horizon. We’re working on it—stay tuned.
Next Step:
Now that you’ve created your own Agent, it’s time to build its soul.
In the next section, we’ll show you how to design a Persona that’s rich in personality and expertise.
